Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I rebuild my shocks?

  • This can vary quite a bit, however for snow shocks I recommend around 2000 miles. For UTV shocks, I recommend 2000-3000 miles. No matter the machine, the more aggressive rider you are, the shorter your interval time should be.

How long does shock service take?

  • Turnaround time will vary depending on volume. We strive to turn shocks around within a week during slower times of year and under two weeks during busier times of year. April and May are the busiest months in the springs, and October, November, and December are the busiest in the fall. If you send your shocks in outside of those times, you can expect a quicker turnaround time.

What does a rebuild consist of?

  • A standard rebuild consists of breaking down the shock, cleaning of all parts in hot-water parts washer, replacing seals and o-rings in the shock, and filling the shock with a vacuum bleeder system. (*Reservoir and bridge will not be disassembled unless there is an issue noted or observed.)
